The boys definitely know how to spend a Sunday afternoon!!  This was the first time they were left alone for any amount of time on the couch.  I’m happy to report that no ER visits were necessary…

There is never a dull moment with this monster…

For all his energy and general wackiness, Sawyer has shown himself to be a bit of a go-getter, as well.  Case in point, he decided a couple of weeks ago to teach himself how to use the potty.  Our doctor had told us that little boys generally started potty training around 3 years of age, so we hadn’t been expecting to cross that bridge for another 18 months!!

Sawyer, though, couldn’t wait that long…  Our camping trip proved to be the perfect environment to shed diapers, and he’s been wearing pull-ups ever since!!  If I seem like I’m bragging, it’s because I am.  Erika and I had NEVER said anything to him about using the potty, but it didn’t matter.  Once he set his mind to it, there was no stopping him.  Much like that bottom picture, there…

I’ve been offline for awhile, so I thought the idea of a post per child might get me back in the good graces of my loyal readers…

Here are the latest pictures of Sullivan Marc…literally taken less than an hour ago!!  As you can see, he is well on his way to becoming another heart-breaker.  The combination of those dark blue eyes and that sly grin spells trouble down the road.  By the way, the meaning of the name Sullivan is “dark eyes”…that’s your free piece of trivia for the week.

The little guy is smart, too…  He used our fantastic 4th of July camping trip to master the art of sleeping through the night!!  Needless to say, we are VERY proud of this accomplishment.
