Emma Girl

As most of you probably know, we recently lost one of the most precious parts of our little family. Emma Lou was taken from us suddenly on Friday, March 9, 2007.

To all that knew her, Emma Girl was more than a dog or puppy. She was a bundle of energy and love that was always happy to play. Emma was our first baby, and she taught us many things about patience and resonsibility that Sawyer will eventually benefit from. I could recall a thousand instances where she made us laugh and smile, and that still wouldn’t do her justice. She was a one-of-a-kind, and those are the hardest to lose. Someone told me that the only time a pet hurts us is when they’re gone…and I believe that. Her loss has left a hole in my family, and in my heart.

Emma would have been 4 years old today. I sincerely thank God that He blessed us, through her, for even that small amount of time. Happy Birthday, Baby Girl. Mommy and Daddy miss you and love you very much.
